Sudlow Middle School is starting construction of a major improvement at the school. Here are a few photos of the project as of 28 January 2025.

The building on East Locust Street was built in 1919. Now the plans are set to renovate and build an addition to the school.

It will then be called Sudlow Middle School and Creative Arts Academy.

The upgrades were approved in September 2024 by the school board, as part of the Davenport Community School District’s long-range facilities plan.

The school board then in November, awarded the bid for the addition and renovation project to Bill Bruce Builders.
