Niche.com had a great article that called out Davenport, IA as number 3 on the list of "The 10 Best Cities to celebrate St. Patrick's Day." After this great day Saturday I have to whole heartedly agree. What a blast!

Fashion for Pawz is a great event Pam Ontiveros holds annually as a fund raiser for the Humane Society. It’s a great cause and just a fun evening to see a little fashion, some cute dogs, and great looking models! Here are a few photos of the event.
Marilou asked if I could do some head shots of her that she could use on LinkedIn, etc. Of course, I was happy to oblige. I proposed ... something with a nice clean white background? She politely countered with, “Yup or natural (blur the background).” Ahhh ... a little bokeh then ... I can do that. So, here’s what we ended up with ... she looks great. And ... here are a few more from the session. 
The annual Moline Homecoming parade was held in brisk conditions. The overcast sky did make for good lighting though. I captured quite a few. Take a look.

It’s been 10 years that I’ve been having Kentucky Derby parties and I love every one of them. It’s always a great time to bring great friends together and, oh yes, there’s the most exciting two minutes of sports that occurs then. All ingredients for a fun party. Check out some photos of the event.
This year I threw everybody a curve and changed the annual Howell Kentucky Derby Party to Belmont Stakes weekend. We had a great day with a great group of wonderful friends. Thank you all for coming and making this such a great event. This year we even had our own “race” horses in the backyard!. Extra thanks go to Chris Dufour for his great photographic skills. The Moline Homecoming parade winds it’s way down 23rd Avenue (oops, I mean Avenue of the Cities). The highlights include the kids, bands, board members, and of course Ray’z Barber Shop VW Microbus. Here are a few of the photos I captured.
The Korndorf’s were kind enough to invite us up for a great day at the Korndorf resort. We all had a great time. Tubing, skiing, kneeboarding, etc. Take a look.
It’s Kentucky Derby Time! This coming Saturday is the 138th running of the most exciting 2 minutes in sports and it’s time for another Howell Kentucky Derby party. Kimberly and I and looking forward to seeing all of our friends and cheering on another Kentucky Derby.
